Why #BLACKLIVESMADDER & Andy Park Won’t Solve America’s Gun Violence

0

I’m sorry for your loss Mr. Parker. I can’t imagine what it must be like to lose a daughter to a racist homicidal maniac, but your mourning doesn’t nullify my rights. Particularly, when your focus on gun control solely addresses a symptom of gun violence in America while ignoring several culturally terminal diseases – immorality, criminality, insanity and black racism.

Andy Parker, father of slain Roanoke, Virginia TV reporter Alison Parker, took to the airwaves last week vowing to become the John Walsh of gun control. He even was so bold as to take the NRA to task for a stance on gun ownership they don’t even hold – allowing the mentally insane to purchase guns. Additionally, he’s teamed up with President Barack Obama and Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D-Va) in hopes of reforming gun ownership laws. Ironically, subsequent to his NRA rant , Mr. Parker explained to a group of reporters outside of the Roanoke television station where his daughter worked that he may have to purchase a gun for his own protection after placing lawful gun enthusiasts like myself in his crosshares. How ridiculous!

The people Andy Parker should be worried about are the #BlackLivesMatter (I prefer “#BlackLivesMadder”) terrorists, the left-wing media and people like President Obama who perpetuate racial hostility in the culture by giving credence to accusations of racism in instances where it doesn’t exist! These are the people responsible for creating an atmosphere where the ticking time bombs that played a role in the executions of Alison Parker, Adam Ward and Texas’ Harris County Sheriff’s deputy Darren Goforth find their sick twisted purpose.

Guns are one of many weapons of choice used by violent criminals to kill people when the perpetrator doesn’t value life. There are many weapons available for individuals who have lost sight of the value of life. For instance, Planned Parenthood prefers a vacuum and a scalpel. Therefore, rather than focusing on some of the instruments of death as the left wants us to, let’s look at the four aforementioned cultural diseases that are currently endemic in America:

1) Immorality: How can we expect people to behave morally when we’ve told our citizens God doesn’t exist, or that He’s not crucial to maintaining a civil society? Or, that He belongs exclusively behind church walls but not in the public square? Without a source for objective truth to righteously judge right from wrong and good from evil, heinous crimes will continue to happen. People mentally capable of determining right from wrong need to know that if you kill someone you will be judged in this life as well as the life to come.

2) Criminality: “More dads fewer delinquents” should be one of our nation’s mottos. The black community is all too familiar with this truth, but whites and Latino’s are quickly catching up. When the Democrat party first replaced daddy with Uncle Sam under FDR’s New Deal followed by LBJ’s Great Society I’m not sure they could’ve planned the break up of so many intact families if they had tried. Too many of our young men are trying to find their purpose in the streets because there’s no father to guide them in the home.

3) Insanity: How we address the mentally insane in America isn’t as much of a “who” problem, as it is a “when” problem. Political correctness and affirmative action in the workplace has become a place of refuge for the insane, instead of a mental hospital where they belong. Left-wing policies have created perpetual victimhood for the likes of people such as the Roanoke killer Vester Lee Flanagan. When colleagues observe serious warning signs that a co-worker is insane they shouldn’t fear retribution for sharing their concerns to higher authorities.

4) Black Racism: I’ve heard it said, “when a white cop kills a black suspect it’s racism, but if a black suspect kills the white cop he’s criminally insane.” Listen, God is the only one capable of knowing a man’s heart. If you hate people because of their skin color you’re a racist no matter what color you are, and no matter how much institutional-power you claim to lack. God judges the heart not your position.

Let’s call Vester Lee Flanagan what he was — a racist, evil, homicidal maniac. The same could be said for Officer Darren Goforth’s executioner, Shannon J. Miles. Now let’s call the #BlackLivesMadder campaign what they’ve become — a racist movement. Mr. Parker and leftist opportunists like President Obama, Gov Terry McAuliffe and Hillary Clinton may claim they want to stop gun violence in America, but that will be impossible to do as long as they continue to set their sights on law abiding citizens while giving the real criminals a pass.

Mr Parker,I’d Fear #BlackLivesMatter not the NRA

The EPA Peed In The Pool – And Doesn’t Care

0

Why hasn’t anyone called Erin Brokovich on the EPA yet? It’s because regulatory agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency exist for three purposes today: to curtail the capitalistic gains of the Industrial Revolution, to mask the failures of FDR’s New Deal, Harry Truman’s Fair Deal and LBJ’s Great Society (social engineering) and to silence the critics that know better.

According to a two-part lecture given by John Adams of the Heritage Foundation in 1988 and 1989, entitled “The Regulatory Revolution and The New Bureaucratic State,” before Richard Nixon and Congress “cooperated in a vast augmentation of regulatory power” between 1970-1974, America had never seen such drastic change of the ends and means of our government, including FDR’s New Deal and the entire Progressive Era. Although Richard Nixon may have intended to reform federal regulatory agencies initiated by Democrats, he did more damage than good by creating additional agencies that have both managed to stagnate innovation and keep leftists empowered despite their failing policies. The EPA is one of nine of the agencies created during that four year period.

According to Adams, there were five qualitative changes consequent to the regulatory revolution:

1) A great increase in the economic burdens of government. A great example is when the federal government decided to become venture capitalists for a safer motorcycle, only to find, after spending $250,000, that it was safer to drive a car.

2) The centralization of administration and a consequent weakening of the central government. In other words, the federal government gave up some of its own power to regulatory agencies. As a result, OSHA got into the toilet business.

3) An unlimited and unconstitutional extension of regulatory authority. Under affirmative action, local schools lost the authority to determine who could teach in their schools. Black teachers were to be sent to white schools and vice-versa, but teachers lied about race on their applications to stay where they were.

4) Social and political debilitation. This led to the EPA slapping emission-control devices on cars, which made them less reliable. Out of “fairness (and I’m not kidding)” they later added those same controls to motorcycles.

5) Corruption of American politics. The industries regulated by these agencies created PACs to fund politicians that would help them game the new system.

These are just few examples of many. These agencies effectively hide the administrative and economic failures of both the New Deal and Great Society because they aren’t limited by budgets. Even Ronald Reagan himself was unable to dismantle the regulatory juggernauts that came into being. This was largely due to what Adams calls “creative federalism” – the federal government had begun paying off states to cooperate with the programs devised under the federal regulatory agencies. They essentially hooked citizens of all walks of life to the crack-like addiction of federal programs before Reagan even stepped foot into the White House.

With this background, let’s now recap what happened this week with the EPA.

The EPA spilled 3 million gallons of toxic heavy metals and contaminants into a creek that flows into a river above Durango, Colorado, Aug. 5. Consequently, seven public water systems were shut off in Colorado and New Mexico – and the media are virtually silent! When regulatory agencies designed to protect us from ourselves threaten our well-being, who’s going to protect us from them? The simple answer is no one, thanks to the “Regulatory Revolution.”

If little Timmy huddles in the corner of a public pool, turns his back, then suddenly the water surrounding him turns yellow, the world, or at least the other swimmers panic. But let the Environmental Protection Agency release a “orange plume of wastewater” down the Animas River into New Mexico’s San Juan River and we get a half-hearted statement from the EPA’s administrator, Gina McCarthy, like this:

“It Is really a tragic and very unfortunate incident, and EPA is taking responsibility to ensure that the spill is cleaned up. The most important effort that we are ensuring right away is the health and safety of the residents and the visitors near that river. There are thousands of abandoned mines throughout the West, and EPA routinely works with states to clean up these spills.”

Normally, an incident like this wouldn’t bode well for President Obama’s recently unveiled “Clean Power Plan,” but regulatory agencies are immune from public accountability, media scrutiny and political adversity thanks to the “Regulatory Revolution.” Despite showing lead concentrations that were 3,500 times than normal, less than a week later much of the spill has been dissolved by God’s good old-fashioned creation – nature, thus illustrating the utter uselessness of the EPA! No matter, all that’s important is that Americans think we need the EPA to perform jobs that would be better left to local municipalities.

Unless America turns back to our Judeo-Christian heritage, strengthens our military, seals our borders, implements a flat or consumption tax system at much lower rates and dismantles some of our federal regulatory agencies, America will never be great again.

GOP & Fox News, Please Stop Helping Donald Trump Win!

0

If you’re planning to vote for Donald Trump in the GOP primary you may be a Republican, but you’re no conservative! Likewise, if you were expecting to find out more about your candidate’s view on substantive matters such as the economy and jobs, Obamacare, the VA, the IRS and tax policy, The IRS scandal, Iran and Jihad, race relations, and amnesty, I’m sorry you were let down by the Fox News debate.

I’m under no illusion that Donald Trump has been extremely beneficial to the GOP brand by harnessing the frustration of conservatives like myself that are sick and tired of Washington’s political class that continue ignore the Constitution and their constituents. He comes across as genuine, a straight talker, he’s a successful businessman, and he has common sense. However, pointing out a problem isn’t solving one.

Additionally, Trump has flip flopped on so many political and social issues over the years it’s hard to know where his convictions truly lie. America can’t afford another Barack Obama. If the right questions aren’t asked to our candidates we’re destined to get one. I don’t believe that Megyn Kelly totally missed the ball, as many do. Frankly, she reminded me of Candy Crawley in Mitt Romney’s debate with President Obama. Our candidates have to be ready for that. Having said that, I expected more questions on the bigger issues of the day; questions that would allow our candidates to rise or fall to the occasion of such a massive responsibility.

What the GOP doesn’t realize is that attacking Trump only emboldens his status in the eyes of his supporters. He becomes their Incredible Hulk when he’s pissed off, crushing every liberal in his wake.

My colleagues, The American Adversaries, heard on Salem Orlando’s late afternoon drive time radio show, put it best by comparing Donald Trump to Moby Dick, and the GOP and “gotcha” media to Ahab. Like Ahab they’re using questions and scandal hoping to harpoon “The Donald,” –expose his weaknesses — but they’re making no progress. He’s getting stronger. Eventually Ahab has to choose between capturing the whale or saving his crew. Legitimate questioning by the media could save America’s crew — us! Vying for accolades from your colleagues in the media is troubling to say the least. It has no place in true journalism, particularly when America as a super-power is at stake.

We’ve brought the Trump phenomena upon ourselves by focusing on personality over policy. Had Rick Perry focused on his campaign rather than Donald Trump’s he might rate higher in the polls. Had Megyn Kelly focused on female unemployment numbers instead of Rosie O’Donnell we might not be talking about her menstrual cycle today. In short, had the Fox News debate focused on solutions to our nation’s problems Trump would be well on his way to “loserville.”

Don’t believe me! Consider these three things:

-Donald Trump openly admitted to political payoffs.

-Donald Trump is fond of Canada’s socialized medical system.

-Donald Trump is unable to effectively defend his policies, therefore he resorts to petty personal and character attacks of his opposition.

The one thing Trump has going for him that the other candidates don’t is his willingness to build a wall on our borders. I don’t want to minimize this. It’s huge! Particularly because all of our candidates have flirted with amnesty. Americans are rightfully frustrated with our feckless Congress and a near tyrannical president. Trump supporters are looking for a champion that speaks their language — someone that can relate to their grievances. Trump is that person!

Unfortunately, those same supporters don’t realize that we’ve already seen a president in the White House that shares some of Trump’s ideological beliefs and narcissism. His name? Barack Obama.

The “Ghettofying” of America

0

As the Republican presidential candidates jockey for the White House in 2016, President Obama and the Democrats are vying for your house, your neighborhoods and your dreams — all under the guise of “fairness.” Whether it’s at the ballot box, in your neighborhood, or through amnesty, the left is aiming to create a single-party government.

While political junkies like myself were salivating with anticipation for the first GOP debate, President Obama and his minions were celebrating, or should I say “milking,” the 50th anniversary of the 1965 Voting Rights Act. Just this week, a federal appeals panel in Texas of all places ruled that a voter identification law discriminated against minorities. Why? Because it requires that voters bring a “government-issued” photo ID to the polls. I’m sure all of the new illegal-alien voters in 2016 will be thankful to Texans for providing their food stamps, which of course will require ID in order for them to receive them.

The Department of Justice and “civil rights activists” were concerned that measures taken by Texas to curtail early voting and same-day registration (code for cheating!) and voting would disproportionately affect minorities. If the left seize Texas, America as we know it is over. This decision by the court could invite federal oversight over Texas voting laws. The Democrats are seeking to eliminate an opposition party. With the influx of illegal aliens, financial backing from the likes of George Soros who funds their court battles and a lack of courage from the GOP to build a wall on our borders, eventually they’ll succeed.

The left is never satisfied! While conservatives were rightfully outraged by the Supreme Court’s decision on gay-marriage and Obamacare over a month ago, their ruling on “disparate impact” which will allow HUD to move poor people into rich communities, went under radar. Here’s the problem with that ruling: you can take the kid out of the ‘hood but you can’t take the ‘hood out of the kid. It’s hard to maintain success you haven’t yet earned. This is why a home being rented is easily spotted in an otherwise manicured neighborhood. Social engineers have many tools at their disposal, but the ability to plant Democrats in Republican areas without having to gerrymander congressional lines may be the most effective, besides importing “new Democrats” from across our southern border.

This brings me to my next point. According to Breitbart.com President Obama has issued more than 7.4 million work permits to foreign nationals from 2009-2014, which goes beyond the nearly one million lawful permanent residents and 700,000 foreign guest workers admitted to the U.S. each year. In other words, we’re being transformed into a Third World nation by rulers who want us all to bow to their whims. Amnesty, must be stopped! We can’t expect people that wrongly believe America was stolen from them to respect our Constitution. Additionally, we can’t afford the loss of American jobs coupled with an increase in taxation. It isn’t kind to steal the dreams of those that were born here; neither is it kind to invite others across our borders in order to purposely subject them to poverty just so politicians maintain their political power.

Choose your candidate wisely, because Democrats are expanding their base even while we sleep. There’s no need to fall for rhetoric when most of our candidates have records. Simply put, those that refuse to address the “social injustices” I’ve addressed, heaped upon Americans by leftists, don’t deserve your vote. The leftist manipulation I’ve described doesn’t enhance the American Dream, it demolishes it.

How Cruz, Fiorina, and even Trump are Saving the Republican Brand

Donald Trump won’t be getting my vote in the GOP presidential primary. However, contrary to popular belief, I’m grateful he’s put the GOP on life support, and he isn’t alone. Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, Ben Carson and Marco Rubio are doing what’s been unseen since Ronald Reagan–speaking above the political and media elite and directly to the people. I suspect Trump will fade. And when he does, those that can effectively communicate a vision for America with passion, optimism and with a plan that will restore her to prominence will be poised to siphon off his supporters.
So how is Trump benefitting the GOP exactly? He’s given us an audience we wouldn’t have otherwise. Many liberals are listening to conservative ideas that have been largely ignored or filtered by the media until now. For instance, I have a Latino friend whose mom is a New York liberal. She despises the GOP, however, she adores Trump. She believes he’s speaking “truth.” As a result, she’s began paying attention to Cruz and Rubio as well.
Americans instinctively want to be the best. We’re tired of power hungry politicians. Whether Trump is speaking out against China’s unfair trade practices and Common Core, or speaking up for a border fence and our Vets, he’s convinced the public that he’s their “champion” that will fight for them — he just happens to be a Republican. They’re convinced if he can “Make America Great Again” they’ll be the benefactors of a national resurgence. Cruz and Fiorina particularly, have wisely capitalized on the Trump phenomena to showcase their own skills.
Just last week Carly Fiorina took on Jake Tapper of CNN regarding the Planned Parenthood video scandal. Likewise, Ted Cruz displayed why he’s a formidable candidate by creating a spontaneous debate with Code Pink leader Medea Benjamin. In both cases, Cruz and Fiorina framed the debate on their terms. In 2012 Mitt Romney allowed President Obama and his cohorts in the media to define him. We know how that turned out! Conservatism without the ability to communicate it effectively is a lost cause. A good debater understands that your opponents questions or remarks should serve as a springboard for your own message. Politicians don’t win on defense.
Recall Carly Fiorina’s recent appearance on CNN. After being asked by a bias Jake Tapper whether or not she agreed with Hillary Clinton that Governor Scott Walker’s bill banning abortions in Wisconsin after 20 weeks with no exceptions for rape and incest was extreme, she refused to take the bait. Instead she did several things:
1) She refused to acknowledge Scott Walker’s position.
2) She filibustered Tapper from interupting when he realized his “gotcha” question wouldn’t be answered to his liking.
3) She didn’t accept Tapper’s premise that preventing a late term abortion was “extreme.”
4) She defined “extreme” by exposing Hillary Clinton’s belief that a life doesn’t begin until it leaves the hospital.
5) She called out Tapper and the left-wing media for not reporting Hillary’s extreme position on abortion, thereby putting him on defense.
6) She used an emotional appeal to moms who call their babies a “baby” during the same stage of pregnancy an abortionist calls it a specimen, tissue, or fetus.
In short, Carly Fiorina framed the argument on her terms. She didn’t allow the left to define her.
That same week Ted Cruz was overwhelmed by yelling and screaming Code Pink protestors as he spoke at a Concerned Women of America (CWA) rally. Rather than speak over them, he invited the leader Medea Benjamin to debate him on the merits of the Iran nuke deal. She was shocked, but graciously accepted his invitation to engage in civil discourse.
As she began spewing her naive rhetoric Cruz remained quiet until she finished. When he was interrupted by the protestors he reminded them that “civil discourse” requires both sides listening. When Medea called opponents of the Iran deal “religious zealots” Ted Cruz scolded her for using divisive intolerant language and admonished her to follow proper decorum by not calling names. To my shock she agreed. He then eviscerated her premise that Obama’s deal with Iran would bring about peace in the Middle East. Cruz reminded Medea that Jimmy Carter’s inability to negotiate the terms of release for our American hostages in Iran was due to his weakness. Furthermore, he explained how it was Ronald Reagan’s “peace through strength” policy that inspired Iran to release the hostages on day one of his administration. Cruz neither conceded the moral high ground or accepted her premise. He used her own arguments against her. Additionally, notice he didn’t censor the left despite them attempting to censor him.
For those of you that are concerned that Trump is sucking the air out of the room, you’re right! Fortunately for us it’s a lot of hot air from the left. Cruz and Fiorina have been smart enough to realize that and use it for their own momentum.
